The work I created focuses on the forces of
emotion and pain within our inner battles. We
all struggle, but for some people it’s
overwhelming. In my painting, each color
represents emotion in a symbolic meaning,
while the contrast of hue, saturation, and
texture all express the psychological and
emotional struggles. I know that mental illness
can be a tormenting experience for the people
suffering from it as well as the people who
care for and love them.
